Best fish restaurant in all of Lübeck! Price-performance ratio is right and the quality is really high. What did we do in Lübeck beforehand? Each of the dishes is really delicious and you get hooked quickly! The team is really very friendly and there is a good and relaxed atmosphere in a high-quality restaurant, great rustic but still nice ambience. Thank you that you exist! We keep coming back as soon as we're allowed to.

Best place to eat fish in Lübeck

It tasted delicious. But: This portion size was very small considering the price. If you are really hungry, you have to order two servings ?. The waiting times until the food arrived, at about half an hour, were also on the borderline.

Nice restaurant, nice service. The food was basically good too. Unfortunately, the cook let my plaice burn on one side. Still, I can recommend the restaurant.

We have been here twice within a year, and each time very satisfied! Everyone will find something for themselves here, if they like fish. So no problem for us. The menu is nice (not too big), the service nice and uncomplicated, the food is big enough and tasty. A 'must' for us when we are in Lübeck!

We had a very nice meal here while on a short visit. My Zander filet was excellent and my fiancé's fish and chips was some of the best I tried. In his words "You would have to try hard in the UK to find a fish and chips so good" (I should add he's British). If we had had more time in Lübeck we would have come back.

Not cheap, but delicious! The staff is friendly and the selection of dishes is appropriate. Unfortunately the oysters were all but the plaice was ? too.

Just delicious. I'm so happy to have found freshly caught. I can recommend starting with an oyster. ? The food is of the best quality and everything is fresh and homemade. Also very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I want to come regularly now.

We tried to eat dinner on the first night but completely booked so we tried for the second night but also booked. We finally got a reservation during lunch, which was on a weekday so quite easier. Definitely book early if you wanna eat here for dinner! This is a popular place! Food is very fresh and delicious. Dining room is spacious and cozy with nice ambience and sea themed decorations that's modern and not cheesy.

We waited 2 hours for food, service is extremely slow, prices are high and quality is not that great... waiting this long for food and charging this amounts it’s in my eyes unacceptable. The experience was not the best. We got a courtesy coffee for the wait and waiters were very nice.

I am not surprised this place has so many great reviews ? the interior, the food, the staff - it works. Reservations are recommended, I also love that you can reserve online. We had the fish and chips with fries and the marzipan mousse as dessert. I have never tried lavendel lemonade and I enjoyed it. Delicious!!! Everything is so so good. Highly recommend!

We were there for the first time on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020. Because we took a short vacation in Lübeck and were hungry late in the evening after an excursion, we went looking for a great restaurant and discovered freshly caught. We opted for the delicious bite-size plate for 2. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long. Everything looked very appetizing and the taste convinced us. The next time we are in Lübeck again, we would like to come again.

Salmon burger and fish soup were delicious. We sat outside, which was pleasant despite the location right at a traffic light. The service is friendly and brisk and there is also the opportunity to look over the shoulder of the kitchen.

Great place to enjoy Northern Germany dishes with fresh fish and drink Störtebeker beer. Friendly and relaxed vibe.

Really great food, nice service. We had a prawn pan and fish + chips. Unfortunately the prawn pan looked quite small, we had imagined more homemade bread than three small slices, just at 13 €. But otherwise, as I said, it was super delicious! Will be back again, but then no shrimp pan;)

Because of the good reviews we went there yesterday and it was really good! It is recommended that you maybe reserve in advance, otherwise you could not get a place! Eat: The selection on the menu is, in my opinion, not too large, but completely sufficient. The food was amazing! We had fish & chips and the plaice and it was great, homemade tartar sauce, fries with a bowl! Ambience: The ambience was exactly to my taste, modern but still in the North German style Service: The service was very friendly, that's what you want it to be! The next time I'm in Lübeck, you'll be my first choice! ;)

Friendly and brisk service. Otherwise the place doesn't look like much. The menu is also very straightforward. But The people here absolutely understand how to prepare fish dishes. That was the best plaice with bacon ever. Even with a good margin. Should I come to Lübeck again, I'll be happy to come back to you.

Very friendly and competent staff. The meal was excellent. The portions more than adequate. We have reserved a table for tomorrow evening. It was like the first time. Everything is really great. Thanks to the team.

We ordered Salmon Burger and Scholle fish. Food was very tasty with adequate portions. Staff are respectful and attentive. We payed with Visa card.

Stylish restaurant with first class food. The high prices are worthy.

Creative yet delicious foods, nice atmosphere, and very friendly service. We ordered "Zander" and "Fish and chips". Zander was served with pumpkin puree and rosemary roasted potatoes, which I would describe as unexpected pleasure. Fish and chips was good. I especially loved the sweet potato fries! The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy along with well-proportioned interiors. Waiters were smiley and kind as well. I'd definitely love to visit the restaurant again.

Had some good fish & chips here. The plaice was also well prepared. Big portions, so if you don’t have a big appetite you can share. I think there was a garden full of potatoes in those chips. Pretty small wine selection if you’re drinking by the glass - only choices are their own label in red or white. It’s an okay table wine. More choices for beer, but that’s what goes best with fish & chips anyhow, in my opinion. Nice, very friendly service. Very clean place and despite the proximity of the tables, and a full house, the noise level is quite good. Tables out front if you don’t mind eating beside a busy street. Take away is available. Worth a visit, very reasonably priced, and a nice casual place. Closed on Mondays.
